Sweet Baby Meat's Birthday Weekend:Part 3
On Sunday we decided that we should have a campfire and make s'mores. Sweet Baby Meat had never had s'mores and I couldn't even remember the last time I had, so after some lunch of leftover birthday party eats...
we piddled around until it got cool enough to sit remotely close to a fire.

After the fire was ready it was time to get to toasting some marshmallows.
Sweet Baby Meat LOVED them! And of course he did..what 3 year old wouldn't love a s'more. I had forgotten how good they were too.
We actually used some extra chocolate icing leftover from our birthday cupcakes which was delish! I'm not big on having a huge chunk of chocolate on my s'more because I like it to be all melty and gooey and I can never get a candy bar to do that. But these were definately melty and gooey!

Sweet Baby Meat's Birthday Weekend:Part 2
Saturday was the BIG day! Sweet Baby Meat had been looking forward to it ever since I had asked him what kind of party he wanted about two months ago and he said "TOY STORY!!! And I want balloons with strings on them!" Easy enough. We started the day with donuts, a tradition that Papi started last year. Those two LOVE donuts!
Papi goes and gets a whole box before Sweet Baby Meat wakes up and then he gets to choose whichever one he wants for breakfast. He loves this and takes this very seriously.
After all it is some serious business when it comes to the big decisions in life. Ahhh..to be 3 again.
He chose the one that he said was a "choke cherry" donut. Alright.
Oh, how he enjoyed his "chokecherry" donut that was the size of his head (seriously, look at it, it is the size of his head!).
Next it was Papi's turn to choose a donut. I seriously think he was more excited than Sweet Baby Meat. Poor, deprived, Papi.
The Princess was sharing in all the excitement too. But she was more excited about the shorts on her head than the donuts. This girl LOVES to wear things on her head! And thanks to Auntie Schnoopie she got anything she wanted. Even if it was wearing shorts on her head all weekend. What my baby wants, my baby gets.
After some errands for a few last minute party items it was back home to eat sprinkles decorate birthday cupcakes.

Sweet Baby Meat's Birthday Weekend:Part 1
A week and a half ago my sister and niece came to visit! We were so glad to see them. It was very exciting and Sweet Baby Meat was even marking off the days on the calendar until they got here. When they did finally get here we took a trip up to Glacier...
Me and my sister..Schnoopie Woopie.

A Little of This, A Little of That
Sweet Baby Meat woke up yesterday morning asking for pizza (where does he get these weird morning cravings?) So after holding him off on the pizza-for-breakfast idea I let him make his own pita pizza for lunch. He loves helping in the kitchen and was super excited.
After lunch it was time to work off that pizza and wrestle with Papi. Sweet Baby Meat kept telling us that he had Papi in an arm bar. Hmm..I wonder where he's heard that? After some wrestling and getting ready it was time for errands. Errands, glorious errands. I'm not a fan.
Sweet Baby Meat's pita pizza that he put the toppings on all by himself.
My little foodie gave his lunch a big thumbs up.
The Princess was excited about pizza for lunch too. Is it terrible that I let my 10 month old eat pizza? What can I say..my baby gets what my baby wants.
I pack my own snacks for EVERYTHING! How big of a dork am I! Seriously you would think I was packing up my purse for a road trip or picnic or something but I like to be prepared. Anyhow, there are my errand snackies. Carrots and blues.
He knows he needs to be well rested for what is in store.
Back home while I put away groceries and washed fruits and veggies the kids made a car/train..
..and a hidey box. And while I cooked din-din..
..and played with more boxes..
..and helped with laundry? What's this? Yep, my sweet boy loves to help.
This morning we headed outside to check on the garden. Sweet Baby Meat wanted some decoration.
He wasn't so much in the mood for pictures.
